After two long years of silence, BoomBox is finally coming back. Not as a patch, not as a small update, but as BoomBox Remastered, rebuilt with love, late nights, too much coffee, and a whole community cheering us on from the sidelines.

And yes… it’s dropping December 2025, just in time for the holidays. The perfect season for new music, new memories, and probably a few sweaty living room workouts.

BoomBox has always been a bit different from other rhythm games. It wasn’t “hit the notes and leave.” It was a place where people created maps for each other, shared songs, pushed their limits, and somehow built a tiny, stubborn, wonderfully weird community that never gave up on the game – even when the game got quiet (we love you!)

That’s the part that stuck with us.

You stayed. So we came back.

What’s new?

More music. More movement. Upgraded gameplay and environments (thank you our amazing modders!). More polish. And the big one – every community map is still inside the game, no mods, no folders, no headaches. Just you, your sticks, and literally endless content.

We rebuilt the fitness side, too. You wanted proper sweat sessions? You got them. You wanted fun? You definitely got that. And you wanted the game to feel like our old BoomBox again – not something generic. So we listened, line by line, comment by comment, DM by DM.

December 2025. That’s when.

So get ready to rediscover the beat, revisit your favourite maps, and build new ones adding them right inside VR. Whether you’re here for fitness, music, community, or all three – BoomBox Remastered is our thank-you letter to every single player who believed this game deserved another chance.
